Wood Slab Bench

Taking as a starting point a conceptual found wood slab with its ready made characteristics, Guillaume Crédoz designed – within the Wabi-Sabi approach of wood grain, growth and breaking patterns – very unique sculptural forms that seemingly merge comfort, robotic fabrication constraints and the crooked elegance of aged wood.

Based on a slab with a cavity, the bench sculptural geometry pays with fictional accident of the natural growth of the wood, proposing an elegant silhouette with a minimal approach.
