Designed by architect Guillaume Credoz for Post Industrial Crafts, the Elemental lounge materializes the latest advancement in large scale robotic 3D printing.

The lounge have planar surfaces only on its side tips, all others are voluptuously shaped both for comfort and the forces at play in their skeleton structures. As a result, the generous organic structure clearly conveys a sense of sturdiness to those very unique shapes fruits of generative design.

The overall series, comprised of a lounge, chair, bench and low table, is made from unconventional 3D printing code and hardware whereby layers are non-parallel, creating convergent lines which thickness reduces toward the back seat creating an intriguing perspective effect within the materiality and process of the items themselves.
